Ragtag Heroes launches in Early Access on February 11th.
Here’s exactly what’s included at launch — and where we’re taking the game during Early Access.
No vague promises. No artificial timelines. Just clear direction.
What’s Included at Early Access Launch
At launch, Ragtag Heroes features:
5 playable heroes (Squire, Scoundrel, Acolyte, Occultist, Brute)
3 Acts forming the core campaign progression
4 rotating Worlds that grow more corrupted and dangerous
500+ synergy-driven cards
100+ relics
Ascension-style difficulty scaling
3-player online co-op
Public matchmaking
This is the full core gameplay loop — fully playable in co-op from day one.
Design Philosophy
Ragtag Heroes is built around mastery and coordination.
Deep run-to-run strategy
Meaningful hero synergies
Cooperative decision-making
There are no permanent power boosts at launch.
Progression comes from understanding builds, adapting to corruption, and improving as a team.
We are evaluating long-term progression systems carefully to ensure they strengthen — not dilute — the cooperative design.
Planned Additions During Early Access
During EA, we are expanding with:
Additional Heroes (playtesters will be familiar with some)
Additional Worlds!
Final Act & Final Boss, completing the campaign arc
Structured Challenge Modes (Daily-style runs & curated modifiers)
Several of these are already in active development.
All additions will be designed and balanced specifically for co-op.
Early Access Pricing
Ragtag Heroes enters Early Access at a low price of €14.99.
This base price will increase when the game leaves Early Access and reaches 1.0.
To celebrate launch, there will be a 15% discount on top for a limited time!
- So if you've been waiting for the game, launch week is the best entry point.
The Goal for 1.0
By full release, Ragtag Heroes will feature:
A complete hero roster
A full campaign arc
Expanded world variety
A polished, stable multiplayer experience
Tight balance across all heroes
Early Access is where we refine, expand, and improve - together with you.
See you on February 11th. ⚔️
