How do you solve the Dragon's Dogma 2 Hunt for the Jadeite Orb quest? When you reach the Checkpoint Rest Town, the settlement on the Vermund-Battahl Border, you're introduced to a unique mechanic that can be used numerous times in the game. There's a vendor in this town that allows you to create forgeries, and we're going to use this to our advantage in the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb quest.
While you can complete this quest early on in Dragon's Dogma 2, we'd recommend waiting until you've reached The Caged Magistrate main quest first as you can kill two birds with one stone. Don't worry, unlike the Rodge location quest that also takes place here, you can take as much time as you want to finish the quest.
This guide contains spoilers for the Jadeite Orb quest, including the relevant story context.
