Hello everyone! Today we have released Enzio-Ware v2.3.1-EA! These patch notes will also go over v2.3.0-EA as I forgot to write patch notes when it was released last month! If you see a "*" next to anything that indicates it is from today's patch (2.3.1-EA)
New Microgames
"BabeGPT" has been added to Arthur's Episode!*

Arthur's date is texting him some pretty difficult to answer questions, luckily with the help of BabeGPT a sophisticated "AI" has generated the perfect response. Unfortunately Arthur is using the LITE version of BabeGPT, requiring him to guess each 5-letter word within 3 tries :(
Incase this even needs to be said, no ai is used anywhere in this microgame. I usually don't explain the context behind each microgame but this one admittedly has a lot of layers to it.
This microgame currently has no time limit. If this doesn't mesh well I will try and mess with it to make a 10-second version.
“Get It!” has been added to Arthur’s episode

Circle treasures to lower their health and maybe even capture them!
This microgame utilizes the new properties we gave each treasure to give them different health and speed values, and alter how often they move location.
Currently, to win this microgame you DO NOT NEED to capture the treasure. If you get its health into the red you will win even if time runs out. Capturing the treasure is a risky move for higher value treasures, as you’ll take damage if it breaks your line.
This microgame will get sound at a later date
“Can You Speak Up?” has been re-added to Sam’s episode!
It works almost exactly the same. Press down to record and scream your heart out.
I don't remember if this change was ever in a public branch, but now it starts recording when you have push to talk pressed down instead of needing to press up.
“Roll” has been added to Sam’s episode!
Roll her around in a ball to the goal!
This microgame will get sound at a later date
UI Changes
The controls pop-up before each microgame now features stylized art (except for the Tap and Close pop-ups)
What was in the game prior to this was temp art, I forgot I was gonna have Ava replace it until like mid-December.
Minor Changes & Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the "Tune In" microgame showed the pop-up for the controls scheme used exclusively by Sam's boss (W S UP DOWN), instead of the correct "A D" controls
Changed the artwork for Apple, Carrot, and Orange (Ava did these in June but apparently I never actually updated them orz). Goodbye temp art!
Fix the Apple, Carrot, and Orange treasures in stickers*
The timer in “Trick Platforming” is now correctly labeled in seconds instead of milliseconds.
Fixed an issue where some characters (‘) and (...) most notably were displayed incorrectly in the PLC-Dia. (I honestly don’t know why that was happened but it probably was a result of my computer being in Shift JIS and all these entries being written by someone else who was probably in UTF-8)
Fixed Typo: “Horeshoe Marshmallow Charm”->“Horseshoe Marshmallow Charm”
Several treasures had the wrong PPU and were corrected to the intended value of 50 PPU, if anything looks alarmingly big plz lmk
Backend Changes
A second PLC-Dia overhaul has hit Enzio-Ware 2.0! Treasures now have tons of new properties, though you can’t see em yourself (least for now). These properties are used in exactly one microgame, but will potentially be used in more in the future!
This update also did what I said would be coming a few updates ago: Value, Edibility, and Location are now tracked per-treasure instead of per-entry!
Soundtrack release!
By the way, on January 15th we officially release vol. 1 of Enzio-Ware's soundtrack! It will come to Steam at a later date too! Give it a listen why don't you?

Current Ongoings + Where is The Epilogue?
As you might have been able to tell from us not publishing patch notes for several months, things are a bit all over the place right now. Most members of the development team are either working on other projects right now or dealing with stuff emotionally, I personally have only really recovered from something I was going through recently, but I will spare the details.
Just for the record, version 2.3.0 actually contained what was originally two different patches. In September I overhauled the treasure backend + made some microgames before starting a job. This patch was supposed to be released in October but apparently I never actually pushed it anywhere until 2.3.0 released, there was not supposed to be a nearly 4 month gap between patches!
I am still rewriting Jud, Hecate, and Enzio's episodes, I am hoping to have them done in the next 10 days for the 1 year anniversary, though they may lack CG. Enzio's episode's outro is going to have its story changed because the epilogue has taken too long to release and I hate that it ends on an unsatisfying cliffhanger.
As for the epilogue, the entire thing is basically back at zero. I tied 1.0's story to (at the time) yet-to-occur real life events, and with how they turned out, I ultimately just need to hard pivot the direction. At a later date maybe I'll feel comfortable elaborating on this, but I'm just gonna leave it at that for now.
The entity we needed to get permission from for part of the epilogue also never got back to me, so things needed to change on that front as well. Ultimately the epilogue has been delayed indefinitely, and I apologize for not meeting the original promise of getting the game out of early access in 2025.
We may end up focusing on other games once the main story is complete, an Enzio-Ware spin-off and a Kayak;Cross spin-off are in prototyping stages. If either of these make it off the ground as commercial games, we will distribute them for free to anyone with the ambassador certificate.
Patreon
We still have no budget so I also just want to add here, that we have a Patreon if you want to help get this game completed faster.
