A BRAND NEW TRAILER
If you haven't watched it, I will give you a second to catch up.
Go on, watch it. Watch Pony Island 2’s new trailer.
You did? We are good? Perfect. Let's dive in!
An Adventure Unfolds!
You wake as the nomad beneath the shadow of an ancient, weather-worn tower, surrounded by a silent landscape still veiled in morning mist. For now, it feels like any other dawn on the road, a fleeting moment of calm beneath an endless blue sky, with no destination and no way of knowing what waits beyond the horizon. But somewhere past the ruins and distant mountains, events are already beginning to unfold...
Realms Within Machines
As the nomad, you will travel far beyond the world you know, entering arcade machines that serve as gateways into different worlds. Each world draws from a distinct chapter of history and mythology. You'll venture from a Song Dynasty China populated with mythical creatures, to the kingdoms and legends of ancient Iran, including the heroic age of Rostam, and farther, into the Lands of the Rus. Every destination offers its own kind of beauty, with unique landscapes, cultures, dangers, and legendary figures waiting around every corner. Yet, wonder is never far from peril. The deeper you travel, the more these worlds reveal themselves to be far more than games. Each realm is ruled by its own Lord of the underworld who may not welcome you kindly.
Speaking of the Lords...
Oh Gods, My God!
SungWon Cho plays King Yan, the wrathful ruler of the underworld who, in spite of his game's name, appears to hate pandas.
Arian Moayed plays Ahriman, who, fading from his former glory, thrusts you into the role of star e-sports player in his game Lamassu League.
Caitlin Reilly plays Mara, a true crime addict whose delight in the macabre has annihilated her sense of empathy. In her game, Brown Bear Bureau, you must solve grizzly crimes as the details of your own bloody past are coming to light.
And finally, Kevin Saxby plays Lucifer. He needs no introduction as he spread the love of CARD UNBOXING back in 2021 in Inscryption as Luke Carder! Players of the original Pony Island will remember Lucifer all too well: the game's primary antagonist, a demonic programmer with considerably more ambition than technical ability.
The world of Pony Island 2 stretches far beyond any single arcade, filled with secrets to uncover, strange characters to meet, and stories hidden beneath every layer of its games. Each realm builds upon myths, legends, and histories drawn from cultures across the world, transforming their richness into something strange, playful, unsettling, and distinctly its own. As the nomad, you’ll piece together these worlds one encounter at a time, discovering how their stories intertwine and what lies beneath the gods who rule them. There is always something more waiting beyond the next screen. The deeper you venture, the more Pony Island 2 reveals just how vast its world truly is.
