The last few days have been difficult for the game, with Steam player counts dropping to alarmingly low levels and fans bombarding it with negative reviews after a controversial update. Now, in a series of messages to the community, Dark and Darker's game director has apologized for his "extreme approach to problem-solving" and acknowledged there have been "inconsistent decisions and shallow responses to feedback."
