Delve into the ruins of The Gray City and uncover the secrets that lie buried within.
To fulfil their destiny, the Simulacrum must journey through the winding passageways and endless caverns of The Gray City, but they are not alone. They are reliant on an excavation team, who forge the path ahead and open up new avenues for exploration. Let us follow them on as they dig their way deeper and deeper into the abandoned recesses of this ancient civilization.
Our first stop: The Commons.

Carved into the bedrock, The Commons are the uppermost layer of the underground Gray City. These are the desolate living quarters of the once flourishing city, long since submerged beneath the now-frozen archipelago above. This was a place inhabited by the majority of the citizens, known as the commoners. The vast area has large derelict structures and carved tunnels connecting various squares, homes, and other areas.
As this was once a residential district, some former citizens remain, now a husk of their former selves and damned to skulk their fallen city for eternity.
These reanimated inhabitants are draped in garments that have been worn down by the ravages of time. These ill-fitting rags serve as a poignant reminder of the district’s former glory.
Want to discover what other horrors lurk in the depths and what untold truths lay dormant, waiting to be disturbed?
Then stay tuned for our second volume of the Excavation Journal.
