This week, Alfred and I (Christian) continued work on the excavators for the upcoming update. The bucket wheel is proving to be a bit of a challenge, as it moves a lot of dirt and has a setup that's quite different from the other excavators.
Kristian has completed all the UV mapping, texturing, and rigging for the new jumbo drill. Rigging the drill arms was quite the task, especially with the rotating rod holders and all the hoses and cables.
Simon has been working on several fixes for the placeable conveyors, making them more reliable so they don’t break in the middle of a line. He’s also made changes to the building system so it remembers rotation better and is easier to build with.
