Well, maybe not 100. I'm not very good at math. But that's not the point. Let's get down to business.
When we started working on Wild Rumble we had one thing clear: We wanted teamplay to be as important as the individual skills of each player.
In this devlog I'm going to explain how we achieved that:
GOALKEEPERS WITH HEALTH BAR
.
When you shoot the ball, it will always be aimed at the goalkeeper, who will take damage and, consequently, its life bar will drop.
You score a goal when the opponent goalkeeper's health bar reaches 0.

CHARGING THE BALL WITH PASSES
When you pass the ball to your teammates, you will see that it takes on a color. The color represents the charge of the ball.
There are 3 possible charges: Green < Blue < Orange. Each one more powerful than the previous one.
The higher the charge, the more passes between allies necessary to get it, and the more damage it will cause to the goalkeeper.

MINI GAME TO SHOOT
To take advantage of the ball charge, the player must release the shoot button when the white vertical rectangle is positioned over the green zone.
If the player fails to synchronize this QTE, the damage that the goalkeeper will receive will be if the ball had no charge(minimal).

And that's it! Don't forget to add Wild Rumble to your Wishlist - that helps a lot!
