Greetings, all of you out there! Glad to see many new players picking up the game while the winter sale is going on! I have been gently working on the game, between holiday activities & AI programming tasks (and my real job sometimes too, almost forgot that, we get lots of leave late winter).

Mines & New Enemies
The latest features I have been adding, mines and the new Septagon Summoners, seem to be received very well! It just adds to the richness and opportunities of the game. Needs some balancing, but both add new dimensions to the game - mines with super temporary structures, and Septagon Summoners adding reason to have Resistance outside boss fights.
Expect more enemies dealing status effects in the future! I find it a fun way to balance the risk/reward. I also want to add more enemies to the game that get the player to move around. Maybe one with a weak point only on the back somehow? Or with strong projectiles that will block and break yours? It's just a bit easy for some players to stand still, making the game less dynamic, and I want to add in to fixing it.
BY THE WAY - just in case you did not see it yet, there are balance changes to Melee bonuses! You now get +25% damage, poise damage, & knockback per 100 stamina. So now Melee (and other wielded weapons) also has a stamina management component too! Only applies to the first enemy hit in a swing too - adding more complexity. Drain your stamina with a special attack to clear a bunch of enemies, or attack normally to damage a single one more consistently? You decide!
New Militia Color Pallet
I have prepared a new pallet for when I am making sprites. I have never used a hard pallet for the game, always adding colors to sprites whenever I needed. I had a basic pallet before, but the colors on it were pretty PC-98 and wild. Now, I have made a composite pallet of some of my best sprites, so I can steal those colors and use them in new sprites! I even stole a few colors that looked nice in the mix too.
This will help add new cohesiveness to the game's sprites, sharing colors between them. I do like having loose colors and just kinda using whatever, though, hence the "militia" part.

Coming Next
A few new relics, fixing enemy tile damage (both in numbers and some things actually working), and some new quality of life, such as a wave progress bar + upcoming wave info (wave name + if boss wave). Stay tuned!
