Update Notes: Version 3.09 (Early Access) – Optimization for Lag in Wilderness Zones
Performance Optimization: Lag has been a long-standing issue in the game. This update delivers a significant improvement—in tests, the game now runs smoothly without stuttering.
Enhanced Shop Randomization: The types of resources available in shops now have increased randomness. This means that even early in the game, players may encounter shops selling items such as Spirit Jade or Refined Iron.
Area-Based Resource Collection: Resources can now be collected within a certain range around the player.
Bug Fix – Enemy Stamina at 0: Fixed a bug where enemy stamina would drop to 0 due to a serialization error. Resolving this issue may require traveling to a new area or starting a new save file.
Miscellaneous Bug Fixes: Various other bugs have been addressed.
Note on Performance Optimization:
Lag has been a persistent problem in the game. This update brings a qualitative improvement. The root cause was that many NPCs in earlier versions relied on searching for objects like the player, which became highly resource-intensive as the map expanded, items increased, and NPCs multiplied. This has now been fully optimized by switching to global variables.
