Hello Prisoners!
Welcome back to another devlog for Prison Survival!
This week, we’re zooming out - way out - to talk not about cells or guards, but about the prison itself.
The walls, the corridors, the hidden corners where trouble brews… that’s the stage where all your survival stories unfold.
🏛️ Inspired by the "Real Thing"
We didn’t just throw some walls together and call it a prison. Nope - we studied real layouts of correctional facilities. From cell blocks to cafeteria lines, our design is rooted in reality.
it’s about how the space shapes your choices. A long corridor means you’re exposed. A blind corner means opportunity. And that giant yard? It’s either your playground… or your battlefield.
🏗️ Concrete Nightmares
We’re excited to show you some early engine shots of the prison layout.
Think of it as a blueprint come to life – blocky, raw, but full of potential. You’ll see how the different zones (cells, cafeteria, yard, workshops) connect, and maybe even start imagining your escape routes already ;)
🖼️ A Peek Behind the Bars
Of course here you can see very early stage of development but in next devlogs im gonna show you some more detailed views. Prison in full version will be really different from a facility you saw in our playtests.
Until then, study the maps layout carefully… survival favors the prepared.
Take care, inmates!
