Helllooo everyone!!! I swear, I've been doing this thing for like four years now, just totally faking you guys out when I say that I'm done pushing updates to this game, but... it's me again and I have very exciting news for y'all today. After about a year of work, the NSFW Cryptid Coffeehouse DLC, titled The Afterparty, has been released here on Steam! Everyone cheer!!!!!! Wahoo!!!
If you're an Itch.io player, you may have noticed that I released this DLC on Itch about a week ago. This DLC was originally intended to be an Itch.io exclusive, but I got a lot of feedback regarding the payment options available now that the new guidelines regarding NSFW content has removed card payments. To mitigate this issue, I decided to put The Afterparty DLC on Steam.
This DLC continues the main story for one last night with Artemis and your friends. You get to hang out with everyone, get a nice meal, watch a movie, and get all touchy and silly with Artemis, who really can't seem to keep their hands off of you the longer the night goes on. Their love for you seems to be overflowing! Oh dear, whatever shall we do?!
This DLC has been a long, long, long time coming and I'm truly ecstatic to be able to bring it to all of you. The DLC totals about 75,000 words (keep in mind that the entirety of Cryptid Coffeehouse is ~156,000 words long) and takes about 2-3 hours to play. There's genuinely so much stuff you can do in this thing that you'll be able to replay it a lot and still see something new each time. I've poured my heart and my soul into this DLC, and I really hope that all of you will enjoy it!
Because this DLC was initially intended to be an Itch.io exclusive, I've decided to switch the base game on Steam to be free to play. That way there's a higher level of accessibility, and now you'll be able to play the base game for free on all desktop platforms! I really want to take the time to let everyone know that I am so incredibly grateful for all of the support, love, and patience I've been given over the past four years that I've been developing this game, this story, and this love that Artemis has for you.
