We’re excited to finally share more of LONG GONE, our narrative adventure set in an overgrown suburban neighborhood decades after the collapse of society.
Alongside the new gameplay, we’re also announcing that LONG GONE is coming in 2027.
Even though we're just a team of 2 working on Long Gone, we're really excited to be--
“Yeah, yeah. That’s cool and all, but i'm new here. What is LONG GONE?”

The world is the main character
In LONG GONE, you explore a neighborhood in ruin long after the fall.
The game moves between two types of spaces. Outside, you’ll platform through 2.5D collapsing streets and overgrown structures as you make your way deeper into the neighborhood. Inside the houses, exploration really takes over, allowing you to fully navigate rooms in 3D, rummaging through drawers, cupboards, and boxes to uncover what was left behind (basically, not just left and right, but back and forth movement too).
Through letters, objects, and forgotten keepsakes, you piece together the lives of the people who once lived here—while also helping wandering survivors find a new future.
There’s no combat in LONG GONE. Every obstacle is a puzzle, whether that means navigating the environment, finding the right item, or simply looking at something from a different perspective.
Not everything is dark. A light-hearted juxtaposition runs through the game, bringing a heartfelt tale of discovery, loss and companionship to balance out the tragic tales.

Meet Mavis 🐈
You may have noticed the cat in the trailer.
Mavis accompanies you throughout the game, occasionally helping you reach places you can’t get to yourself, warning you of dangers, providing guidance and just being all around awesome. Don’t worry, she’ll never get in the way. If anything she looks after you more than you do her — and of course, you can pet her whenever you like.

Music Announcement
The trailer features music by Frida Johansson, composer of the soundtracks for Unravel and Unravel Two. Her work brings a quiet, emotional tone that perfectly complements the reflective atmosphere of LONG GONE. We look forward to working with Frida on the full sound track for the game!

If you’re interested in LONG GONE, wishlisting the game helps us a ton and makes a big difference for a small team like ours. Speaking of which, the two of us need to drink some more coffee and get back to it!
Thanks for following along — we’re excited to show more as we head toward 2027.
