The Call of Duty Warzone 2 release date is fast approaching and we're quietly optimistic that this iteration of the popular free-to-play FPS game could very-well be the best battle royale game out there - when it launches, anyway. If you're sitting there with your Xbox controller waiting to jump into this game on your Xbox Series X|S, you might be asking yourself the following question: do you need Xbox Live Gold to play Warzone 2?
Traditionally, when you sit down to play an Xbox game online with friends - or strangers - on your Xbox console, you need an active Xbox Live Gold membership. However, things are changing and it's not as silly as it may sound to ask whether you need Xbox Live Gold for the game.
