Welcome back Pilots!
Steam Next Fest has ended, and we received a ton of excellent feedback and suggestions! Thank you everyone for playing the demo, and leaving your steam reviews and community feedback. Your support helps us to improve the game as we head towards a full launch later this year. This patch includes a number of quality of life improvements based directly on all of your comments. Check out the full patch notes below.
Experimental Features: Gamepads and Joysticks
We have added Joystick and Gamepad support. However, these features are very experimental, and will need to be improved over time. Controllers start with some default keybindings, which will need to be disabled in the settings menu if you want to map your own keybindings. Joysticks only map the trigger to fire the selected weapon group, so most joysticks will need their own keybindings assigned manually.
The game was balanced for keyboard/mouse input, so you may find the game significantly more difficult when using a controller. Consider reducing your difficulty setting while getting used to your preferred control scheme.
Feedback on default keybindings, desired features for controller support, and any bugs encountered are greatly appreciated.
