So we recently announced The Cub and have been getting quite a few questions about the song in our trailer. Well, ask no more. Here is the track in full!
It's a custom track made especially for the game and is just the tip of the iceberg that will be The Cub's soundtrack. Just like in their previous title Golf Club: Wasteland, developers Demagog Studio will be bringing you a custom radio show with hours of apocalypse wave tracks and heartfelt stories from callers living on Mars to keep you company. Radio Nostalgia From Mars is back!
We're also going to translate and subtitle all the radio content, from song lyrics right through to the stories in other languages so you get a better sense of the hidden gems layered into the tunes and recollections of those still alive on Mars.
Also, for those wondering also how this all connects with Golf Club: Wasteland:
The game is set in the same world as Golf Club: Wasteland, but this isn’t a copy-paste sequel. We’re going back to the world we created using it to tell new stories from the perspective of a survivor on Earth. We’ve also written it in such a way that the story in The Cub intersects with the one in Golf Club: Wasteland and then continues on for those who wanted to know the fate of the golfer and the child. - Igor Simic, Creative Director, Demagog Studio
