We’ve been working on Annie for several years (you don’t want to know how many) and the time has finally come to unveil the fruits of our labor.
As you'll see on the Steam page, here's a short description of the game:
A twisted first person horror adventure. As an employee of the SCP Replication Division you are tasked with testing artificially developed paranormal events. Solve puzzles, converse with anomalous entities and explore multiple paths to untangle the secrets behind the Replication Division.
There's currently three of us working on Annie full time, with concept artists, writers and audio engineers brought on periodically when we need them to do their magic.
The game is made in Unity in its HDRP pipeline for uber graphics and performance, Nvidia DLSS and all that modern stuff, as you can see in the screenshots. We're aiming for good scalability so you can play it on a 6 year old mainstream laptop, but also be able to crank up the graphics to make an RTX card pull its weight in graphics processing.
We're hoping the SCP fanbase will like what we did with their (and our) beloved Foundation. The game is also very much accessible for players who've never heard of the SCP Foundation at all. We'll ease you into the horror slowly, don't worry.
We hope to announce a release date soon. You'll be getting, screenshots, gameplay and trailers throughout development. There might be a demo hiding somewhere in there as well. ;)
Head to the Steam Page to wishlist and check out the teaser, screenshots and details about the game.
Cheers!
