Hello everyone, this update is quite substantial, covering everything from visual improvements to performance optimization. Here's an overview of the changes:
Visual Animation:
The protagonist's animations have been revamped, making movements smoother and more natural.
The explosion and fade effects for enemy deaths have been improved for better fluidity.

New Animation Assets
Performance Optimization:
Implemented texture streaming for materials, significantly reducing hardware requirements and improving smoothness.
Levels have been refined with better segmentation, and unnecessary assets were removed.
Replaced legacy effects from the initial version with new, more resource-efficient ones that also look better.
Optimized resource loading methods to reduce disk requirements and speed up material loading times.

Maximum Frame Rate: 120 FPS
Gameplay Enhancements:
Increased jump airtime for easier obstacle navigation.
Improved horizontal sensitivity during jumping, enhancing mid-air control.
Adjusted some unreasonable level designs and replaced certain enemy sound effects.
Updated some environmental assets.
Optimized save systems, allowing demo progress to carry over to the full version.

Saves can now be carried over. Slots 1 and 2 on the left are for testing purposes!
Known Issues:
When texture streaming is enabled, animations may initially appear blurry but will transition to normal visuals after a few seconds. I believe this is due to my inexperience and will consult with experienced developers to address the issue. Thank you for your understanding.

It starts blurry, but just wait a few seconds...

It'll load properly afterward!
Why enable texture streaming?
Initially, I worried that the blurriness might impact gameplay, but without texture streaming, even 64GB of RAM would quickly be maxed out. Players with lower-spec systems wouldn't be able to run the game at all. With this compromise, memory issues are mostly resolved. My 1050Ti laptop and Steam Deck both run the game smoothly. If any Unreal Engine 4/5 experts have advice, I’d greatly appreciate it!
Recently, updates have been sparse due to tight development schedules. Apart from some design work by my father, the rest of the game is entirely my effort. Progress may be slow at times, but it’s ongoing. I hope you understand.

This concludes the demo update. I hope you enjoy it!
