Message from Raph
Hello Wayfarers!
I know many of you may have seen that we had some severe server issues around launch. We’ve published nine updates in the last two weeks, hotfixing performance and stability problems, adding quality of life features, and even dropping in some new game content.
We still have plenty of work to do – it’s Early Access after all! – but the game plays much more smoothly now, so we’d love to have those of you who got hit by rubberbanding and lag to come back really put our updates through their paces.
Thriving player cities have sprung up on several planets, and there are already some real rivalries forming. As always, it’s amazing to see the creativity that players are showing in their builds. To help galactic civilization along, we now give every new account their first homestead plot upon their first arrival in space so they can get to the building feature faster.
I hope you will jump in and check out some of the events this weekend!
-Raph
