We are very pleased to announce our latest update v1.10
You can currently update the 1.10 beta from the test branch. See the bottom of the announcement for how to update.
Details on how to update mods/adjustments for developers will be provided in the next announcement.
The mod maker is not available at the moment / the solution may be buggy.
About the Guest List
Friends online
Now you can play online with your friends, create Guest Lists and interact with other friends!
If you start the game in steam or have steam open when you start the game, you can see a new option in Interactions Guest List
Once you have created a Guest List, friends can join your Guest List, or you can invite them to join via your steam friends list.
Players with Guest Lists enabled will have a status of "can join"
If you don't enable the Guest List, no one will be able to join your game. Guest List functionality is implemented using SteamAPI, no server content.
Interact with friends
Pets and interactions are synchronized online, with support for feeding, petting, and chatting.
Right mouse click on a friend's pet to open the menu bar
Support for Creative Workshops
Animations/items of mods subscribed to by both players can be displayed.
At the same time, online related interface has been supported and open source, mod developers can also use the interface to write some two-player/multiplayer mini-games.
In the future, there will be an official online mod case study: Lolis Race.
Data update
Job Panel
Added a new work panel with multiplier adjustment, so you don't have to worry about the animations that look good at low levels not working at high levels anymore.
By adjusting the multiplier, you can freely choose the consumption multiplier and profit rate, and if you want to feed less often, you can choose to lower the multiplier. If you want to make a quick and high profit, you can choose to lower the multiplier.
Data Optimization
At the same time, we have optimized the working earnings model, so that it will not be more efficient than learning as in version 1.09. We have also removed the index calculation data from the earnings.
We also added a new function to automatically calculate the reasonable work, through the gradient descent method to adaptively calculate the reasonable data based on the current data, instead of resetting to the default value.
Leveling up the data cap
In version 1.10, the player data cap will increase with player level.
A breakout system for players with thousands of hours
We've redesigned the way the experience/leveling system is designed, and created a special breakout system for players over 1000 levels.
Whenever a player reaches a breakthrough level (initially 1000, +100 per breakthrough), they will return to level 100(*number of breakthroughs), and the breakthrough level will be +1.
Although the level drops, the stamina/mood limit will be higher than the same level before the breakthrough, and the favor limit will be retained!
About Module Compatibility
Since 1.10 is a major update, some structure adjustments have been made and the project has been upgraded to dotnet8. Some of the mods may change.
Work: Adaptive calculation of reasonable values is provided, and the mod maker will follow up with auto-calculation.
Animation: No changes
Code plugin: not working at all, need to upgrade project to dotnet8, will post a tutorial in the next announcement.
Version: Need to change 109 -> 11000, the new version number is 1.10.00, won't be stuck version for a long time like 1.09
