Hello all!
I just wanted to post an announcement to bring everyone up to speed on how Secrets of the Temple's development is going.
It's going quite well!
A few weeks ago, my PC suffered a catastrophic failure where one of my RAM sticks decided to short out the slot it was in and this caused memory issues, which in turn caused problems with Windows, and the PC became unresponsive.
I lost everything. Secrets of the Temple's Raw Files included. Devastation ensued.
I took the PC to BestBuy, Geek Squad fixed it good as new, and we're back in action! The only downside is I had to start Secrets of the Temple from scratch. It gave me the opportunity to really take a look at the direction the game was going, and I have to say it was burning me out. Starting over may have been the best thing for me.
Currently, on the beta branch*, I have a playable build of the "reimagined" Secrets of the Temple, and I plan to continue polishing it and adding to it as the weeks go on. This will allow me to create the best possible game for everyone to enjoy. I have to say I love the direction its taken, and I can't wait to show everyone the end result. The current regular branch is the "old" Secrets of the Temple that will soon be gone, once I feel comfortable with what I have.
We're gonna stay in Early Access for a little while longer than expected. But hopefully you'll see the new build, with all new mechanics, within the next month!
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
