World War 2 games have long been a staple, but increasingly we're seeing more of them branch out into alternate-history takes on the conflict. So it is in dieselpunk strategy game Grit and Valor 1949, which injects a little Armored Core into the battle between Axis and Allies. Blending classic Call of Duty with Into The Breach, the tactical roguelike is set to arrive in 2025, but a closed beta is coming in less than a month, and you can sign up now if you're interested in taking part.
