Hello Everyone, this is our first update to all of our users. Our second chapter will be meeting me and my co-lead developer here at Project D20. We are going to answer some popular questions from some of you that have emailed us!
Chapter 1
We have some interesting news!
Every week we will have a new chapter going up to our official release this is what we have done for the past week! This week was a little challenging fixing up some bug issues and some optimization issues, we did our first test on how many frames, a person would get on an RTX 3080 and I7-10700K.
The AVG.FPS with dynamic weather was 260fps. Next week we will be testing a 1060 3Gb and an I7-7700.
- Build Menu Spawns!
- Heiksland is done.
- Notes Page!
- Dice Spawner and Dice Counter
- Steam Integration
Development is steady and we are getting stuff done every day. By next week we should have a preview of our first gameplay test with multiplayer. Of course, there will be some issues but we have some time to polish some stuff. As well as next week to get our first introduction of me and my co-lead. We are going to explain what we are doing and why we are doing it. We want to revolutionize table-top campaigns as a whole. We truly believe this is the next step in doing that.
1000's Years Before
The 1000's Year Before Campaign is an original campaign, a regular user will have to follow the book format, this campaign is only available through Project D20. As the screenshot shows you are in the little village, called Heiksland. This little town will house a future warrior in the future named Eddard that will come 1000's Years later. This part of the story is important you have to succeed or the future will become nothing. You will be joined by different allies through this quest. One of them is Ryujin, the son of Izanagi or the god of lightning, he will be helping you, on finding a way to stop the Dragonian Empire. Even if he has gotten older through his time.
This is it for our news and we will see you back next Sunday! For Chapter II.
As always this is Alex, the Lead Developer at Project D20. We will see you next time. Don't forget to wishlist!
