Hey Guys,
Welcome to our first devlog!
First off: the story
We changed a story for Farmer’s Father, since it’s a prequel of the Farmer's Life game. We want to make it clear that our main hero is Kasimir’s Father, along with Kasimir’s mother and Kasimir brother.
Gameplay:
- we added a dog that will help us during our journey, he will search for useful things such as chests hidden by partisans and warn us against any danger.
- now you can loot abandoned houses by opening drawers in cabinets. You can also find precious items that will help you survive.
- your safe place is a dugout, we are working on customization of this place. You will be able to make it your second home.
- the most important thing in Farmer’s Father is that you can’t fight with enemy soldiers, you should avoid them. The safest way to travel is doing it during a night, soldiers will only see you if you reach a lit area.
Changes:
- we are working on UI, we want to reach one style for this game so it’s a work in progress.
- we changed a light in the game, to make it more enjoyable for your eyes, also we make sure that night is darker than before.
- and of course now you will be able to drink water from the lake and any other river in the world.
Plans for the future:
Our main goal is optimization and adding more mechanics to the game. You have to survive 365 days, so we need to make sure you won’t be bored. If you have any ideas what we can add then reach us on our Discord.
See you next time.
