Like you will in Lempo, people have also believed that you can get lost in Metsänpeitto in real life. In Finnish mythology, when people or animals go missing for reasons we cannot explain, Metsänpeitto is often to blame.
Sometimes when walking in the woods, even if you've been there many times before, you'll find a small area that feels like you've never seen it. And before you know it, you are completely lost. Sometimes even so lost, that you end up in Metsänpeitto and are unable to simply walk back to the right path. Welcome to this fantasy world.
