You find gold where you find it. Sometimes that's a year late, knee-deep in a different river, using a different pan.
We threw out the old engine. We threw out the next engine. We rebuilt in Godot 4.5. We lost some time. We found it again. And somewhere in the middle of all that, the game got better. Meaner. More on fire.
The fire spreads again, faster now. The citizens run. The sheriff gets mad. You can burn down a saloon in about four seconds if you're not careful, and about three seconds if you are. The faction AI remembers what you did. The wanted system works. The chaos is there, and it is loud.
We know you've been waiting. We know "updates coming soon" is the oldest lie in Early Access. So we're not saying that.
We're saying the bleeding edge update is live. Right now. Today. Go play it.
There's more coming. Builds. Screenshots. MAYBE a trailer that doesn't embarrass us. But we didn't want to make you read another post about future Tumblefire.
You've got present Tumblefire. Go cause some damage.
