Hello Wanderers,
Fractured Worlds is OUT NOW!
After nearly a year in Early Access on the Epic Games Store, Fractured Worlds has officially launched in 1.0 and is now available on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
Created by Matt Oelfke, former developer on Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, Fractured Worlds is an old-school dark fantasy action RPG built around deliberate combat, classless progression, randomized worlds and Souls-style multiplayer.
View game pageThe world is broken. All that remains are fragments, forming an ever-changing labyrinth of times and places lost. Explore randomly generated zones, uncover lost stories and amass loot & power as you search for what broke the world and a way to fix it in this action RPG.
Precision Combat Meets Classless Freedom
Combat in Fractured Worlds is deliberate, weighty, and skill-based. Every weapon archetype - from two-handed maces to agile spears and Aether-infused wands - has a distinct rhythm and feel.
The classless progression system allows for experimentation: respec your build, adapt to powerful legendary items, and shape your character around the play style you enjoy most.
Emergent Multiplayer & Souls-Style Invasions
In Fractured Worlds, realities occasionally overlap, allowing you to encounter other players in unexpected ways. You are free to play your way: you can assist or invade, cooperate or deceive, share loot or set up deadly traps for others. Inspired by Souls-like invasions, this emergent multiplayer system creates organic interactions for players across all platforms.
The innovative Map Shard system lets players share parts of their world with others. Each shard spawns a co-op instance with randomized modifiers that alter enemies and loot rewards, creating unpredictable high-risk, high-reward experiences.
Face the Shadows
Battle against challenging bosses that demand focus and precision. From the Treasure Golem and Ghostly Knight to the fierce Dragon and even your own Shadow that mirrors your gear and skillset, each encounter is a test of skill and patience.
Built Together With Our Community
Since entering Early Access in October 2025, Fractured Worlds has grown significantly thanks to player feedback.
Over the past year we’ve added new regions and story chapters, enemies, items, skills and modifiers, expanded multiplayer systems, and made multiple rounds of performance and stability improvements.
Thank you to everyone who played, tested, reported bugs, shared feedback and helped shape the game along the way ❤️
