Hey Giants!
We’re back with a new Roadmap with all our latest projects for 2025! Between free updates and a new DLC, the world of Reus 2 will continue to be filled with life. As always, your feedback was super valuable to shape this Roadmap and we hope the upcoming novelties will hype you!
March 11th - Micro Kingdom update
When we told you that the new content would soon arrive, we were not kidding! Next week, on March 11th, you will have access to the first free update of the year, the Micro Kingdom Update: micro rework, new draft mode, massive rebalance of biotica and quality of life improvements are on the agenda and if you want to read in more details what this is about, check out our former teaser here:

⚠️ This update is not backwards compatible! You won’t be able to revisit old planets & save files after you update!
Because of how different the Micro rework is compared to the previous version, you’ll not be able to load planets from before this version (v1.6) anymore. We will keep a fallback version of v1.5 online on a beta branch for anyone who would wish to finish the planets they started before this update, although keep in mind that the meta-progression remains with this update. If you have further questions regarding this update, feel free to reach out to us.
May - Uluru Kata-Tjuta Update
Desert does not mean emptiness and this second free update will prove it. Just like the Australian park behind its name, this update will focus on the desert biome to bring more possibilities to it!
We’re also continuing our language addition to the game with the Polish language added with this update! We are still reviewing for other languages, but as you can guess, it takes time and resources to do so, that’s why we will keep you updated if new languages will be implemented in the future.
July - Everglade DLC
We heard you loud and clear, Giants! Our next DLC will be ready for this summer and will bring to Reus 2 a new biome: the Wetlands! You know what it means: new biotica to discover!
Other additions will be featured in this DLC but we keep the surprise for later. Our dear Reginald is already impatient to see what this new biome will bring! We can’t wait to show you what we got in store for the Wetlands!
We hope you are as excited as we are for this year and do not hesitate to share your feedback with us on this Roadmap and the upcoming updates and DLCs!
Have a marvelous weekend, Giants, and let’s chat on Discord!
- Greetings from Adriaan & the other monks
