For our first major update since full release, why not come out with a bang?
Connections+ (auto-generated graphs overhaul)
- zoom in/out without losing any quality
- graph generation fully adapts to light and dark mode
- colors and size of nodes and links updated, affected by proximity to points of interest and new auto-generated meta data
- same goes for point of interest in relation to all other nodes
- graph points of interests overhauled
- contain node type and icon above node title
- adaptive sizing based on entire graph
- clusters auto-compiles new points of interest for each cluster
- 'main nucleus' = nodes with most links
- 'secondary nucleus' = nodes with second-most links
- 'tertiary nucleus' = nodes with third-most links
- can have multiple main nuclei
- node rendering now ordered by auto-compiled significance
UI
- better contrast in tasks and me when light/dark theme
- standalone HUD in Big Picture, by default hidden
- tweaks for mobile
- clusters' tabs updated
- styling updated for add relation
- preferences box color changed
- bundles styling updated
- payload text color adjusted
Graphics
- performance mode colors updated
- faster animations for performance mode
- big picture graph generation ~6x faster
General
- Markdown support unlocked at level 1
- fixes to IAI plus features not showing up
- appbar updated
- searching is now a smoother experience, removed
- actions color tweaked based using lightenOrDarken more
- actions location updated dynamically based on window width
- updating the node type doesnt close the node type
- controls for graphs initially hidden everywhere except check for link
- glitching when hiding the following features fixed: intuition training, import/export, add node/link type, settings
- clusters description updated
Update 3.26 is already live with the new graphing engine available to all free and Plus users, enjoy!
