Update
Major changes in Ver. 1.2.0 are as follows
- Lighter in-game search engine
- Removed tips (because they are no longer needed to speed up scene loading).
- Increased the volume of background music and sound effects.
- Added endless references mode in English.
- Changed language to Japanese on first startup
- Changed the display method of 3D graphics to make them lighter & retouched to correct them
- Added publisher BOCSTE, Ltd. to logo and copyright notice
- Changed information about some of the fictional books.
Although it looks much the same as before the update, the inner workings have changed significantly.
Faster scene loading for a more comfortable playing experience.
The deleted Tips may be published later on the official site outside the game in the form of a “Kakureza Tips Collection” or something similar.
The following is an update from 18 Sep.
[Caution] In-game achievements are reset by the update
It has been reported that the previous in-game achievements display is initialized when updating to Ver. 1.2.0.
This may be due to the change in the name of the game executable file.
(The blank spaces in the file name have been removed)
Achievements on Steam will remain, but if you have just started playing recently or are in the middle of earning achievements, please be careful and consider not updating.
For those aiming for trophy completion
The trophy completion achievement obtained when you have earned all achievements other than the game itself is not an achievement on Steam, but is reflected in Steam achievements when you start to achieve trophy completion when you have earned all of them by referring to the "Acquired Achievements" on the title screen in the game.
Therefore, if the in-game achievements are initialized by the update while you are aiming for trophy completion, please re-earn your in-game achievements, including those already listed in Steam achievements.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for your cooperation.
