Tropico 7 - Multiplayer Update
Dear Tropicans!
The TBC (Tropican Broadcasting Corporation) would like to bring something to your attention:
As you may have already seen, Multiplayer mode will not be included in Tropico 7 at launch. But trust in El Prez, you have nothing to fear! We are planning to add multiplayer as part of a free update at a later date.
This will allow us to focus entirely on the game’s new features, such as the narrative campaign, the political matrix, and terraforming (to name just a few of El Presidente’s grand ideas), to deliver the best possible Tropico 7 experience at launch, while also giving us more time to create an improved multiplayer experience.
We truly appreciate and recognise the love you’ve shown for multiplayer throughout the Tropico series – managing an island together (or sabotaging each other) is a guaranteed happiness boost! That’s why we plan to introduce a 4-player multiplayer mode as a free update following the launch of Tropico 7.
We also want to take a moment to thank you for your incredible support and feedback (as well as votes) that you continue to send us. We read every single comment (thanks to our hundreds of surveillance drones), and we hope you’ll join us for the next big Tropico adventure!
P.S. It seems Penultimo would like to share some top-secret, and absolutely truthful, details about the planned multiplayer mode:
“Is this thing on? *cough* With the gracious approval of El Presidente, I would like to give you a small hint about what awaits you in the great multiplayer mode coming after the release of Tropico 7.
Up to 4 players will be able to play simultaneously in multiplayer mode. Admirers of El Prez will each reign over their own version of the same island on one massive shared map, making Tropico 7’s multiplayer bigger than ever. This provides more opportunities for cooperation, competition, and presidential mischief, ensuring every player has an equal chance to prosper or fail spectacularly. Want to sabotage your rivals with questionable propaganda tactics and military intervention? Or would you rather support your fellow presidential colleagues as a generous and benevolent leader? The choice is entirely yours!
Now please excuse me as I must now return to the llama stable, as El Presidente has ordered.”
Stay tuned for future llamazing updates and remember: Viva Tropico!
