Hello, everyone!
This is Lucky Cat, the solo dev behind The Silent Kingdom.
First of all, The Silent Kingdom is participating in the RPG Maker Festival 2026! If you like RPG Maker games, you can visit the festival page to discover many of them.
I've been working hard on chapter 2. My goal is to complete all the programming, mapping, graphics (character animations, character portraits...) and some extra details to the script by the end of March. Then, my close friends will be able to play it for the first time and give me feedback! I'm very excited after all the hard work. I want to know if they find the journey enjoyable.
CGs and battle stuff will still be missing, since I'm leaving those for later. This is because, later on, my friend will have to correct and edit the English translation. That might take her long since there's a lot of text, so I'll use that time to work on CGs and battle things, instead of just wasting time without anything to do.
Speaking of CGs...Many people asked for a CG gallery, so I'm happy to announce that it's done! It'll be added to the final version of the game, and will be unlocked after you finish the game once.
I used a Japanese plugin modified by one of my backers, Relyss.
This is how it looks so far:
Thanks to Relyss, the gallery appears in the main menu and can be translated to different languages. It's a miracle ;_;
For now, I'll focus all my energy into finishing chapter 2 (I might have to crunch myself a bit to meet the March goal). Then I'll start working on chapter 3 right away. Remember that I plan to update the game with both chapters together.
As always, thank you for your support! Off to work I go!
