Hello, everyone! This is Lucky Cat, the solo dev behind The Silent Kingdom. I'll be making this post in English only again to save time. I apologise for the trouble.
First of all, The Silent Kingdom is participating in the Steam Summer Sale with a discount!
I've been working on the next half of the game non stop. Mapping, programming, some script, and some graphics like sprite animations. Story wise, I might be halfway through chapter 2 (the Lectica arc). It's a lot of work because it has many new animations and maps. Several maps will be visited once and briefly, but they are necessary.
Here are some previews:
"I had never seen a bird eat a man."
This is one of the new NPCs you'll meet. Friend or foe?
As for CG/still art, So far I have 17 illustrations pending to draw. Since I tend to leave illustrations for last, I use embarrassing placeholder art while programming. Drawn with my mouse and my left hand.
P-please don't judge me too harshly ;;;;
When this CG is done in the future, I'll publish it. For now, your eyes can enjoy this timeless masterpiece before it disappears forever.
As you might know, the Early Access contains the prologue and the Fortuna arc. I'm currently working to make the Lectica and Somnia arcs together, so that I can finally update and release the game in its final form. I'm also trying to save up for Japanese voices. Getting all the funding I need for that will be tricker than I thought, but I'll see what my possibilities are when the time arrives.
For now, I'll keep focusing on my tasks at hand. One step at a time.
Thank you for your support and kind reviews! It always makes me happy to see that people are finding enjoyment in my game. I'll keep doing my best to see it finished!
