Dear Entrepreneurs,
As per convention, we'd like to thank you so much for all the questions coming to us from you after our previous devlog. We've found numerous fascinating ideas among them, which gives us a solid energy boost for our continued work. 🙂
This week we invite you to a broader discussion of the buildings that we'll be looking after while playing Shopping Mall Renovator.
As is often the case in life, the player begins with a modest capital, earned during recent years of work.
The catalogue of buildings available for purchase, which we are going to, naturally, describe in greater detail soon, will contain the first small jobs that will be used to prepare the player for greater challenges.
The first venues on offer will be small, detached shops or slightly more spacious single-story store halls featuring a few boutiques, each of these will be required to have a functional toilet and a small snack & drink stand.
This will allow the player to get acquainted with all the game's tools, key binds, and gameplay rules of having our work evaluated by potential customers.

Afterwards, new, and bigger buildings will appear. Shopping centers are going to sport a considerable surface area, so renovating them will require that you keep several details in mind. Some building features will become available only after achieving a specific surface size.
These will include:
– escalators,
- elevators,
- underground parking,
- bigger markets,
- food courts,
- children's play areas,
- entertainment areas,
- cinemas and many more 🙂

As you can see, there's no shortage of work!
We hope our perspective on this type of buildings has earned your curiosity and will prompt further questions and suggestions. Your opinions are exceptionally relevant to us.
