It’s saucy time #3 \\\\٩( 'ω' )و ////
Greetings, men of culture (and ladies)!
It’s that time of the month again and I’m back with the saucy updates. As you may have known from the several posts that I made, the Demo for Shred & Tear is coming real soon, hopefully within this month, or early April at the latest. I’m jammed with polishing and setting up the preparation of the final ingredients for this milestone. I really cannot believe it has been over a year of me working on Kajun-chan and these Tentamon freaks!! Let’s see what I’ve gotten for the main course:
And well, while I’m here working my arse off, Kajun-chan will be out on Tinder looking for her next one to shred *facepalm*

I’ll be ready for any questions you might have in the comment section, so hit me up ;)
Now, fasten your seatbelt, let’s get it shredded up in here!
Art & Model
Armored heavy gate
At this point, y’all must have known about Kajun-chan and her main mission to escape the research facility of the Tentamon. But other than those bio-mutant bosses, Kajun-chan is also going to be facing obstacles like this armored gate. It is heavy, closing down at light speed with no warning, and welp, no mercy!
Yes, these gates are going to make the journey even spicier for her, and they are all over the place. Kajun-chan can go through them, but she can appreciate a helping hand from you.
Heavy builder drone

As I have mentioned before (maybe too many times), the Tentamon is a hideous and diabolical species, but they’re also centuries more advanced than us technology-wise. Whole fleets of these lowly construction drones are the building blocks of their industry and invasion of Earth.
These builder drones do not only serve to build their gigantic headquarters, they can also switch to fight mode with no hassle. Those claws might not be as sharp, but they are still a force to be reckoned with!
Start menu
The one who knows, knows. The one who doesn’t, doesn’t ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). What do you think of this start menu? The BGM chosen for this screen is meant to hype you up and set a mood for the intense, gory, and of course sexy nature of the game. I got a lot of help from a music producer on this one and will credit him in the game for this contribution!
Other than that, should I cover “them” up? A good old anime smoky steam or strategically-placed lens flare? Let me know in the comments section below ;)
A sneak-peak of cutscene sequence (on a Friday night)

This was me, talking to myself, last Friday, drunk.
- I’m only one drink away from um… getting no focus, at all…
- Am I seeing 3 Kajuns? Let’s move around a little.
- She is staring at me, right? Those fierce eyes can be scary at times…
- … gotta adjust the focus, where are her claws tho?
I heard Kajun-chan clenching her machine claws, and passed out…
Intro comic

I am a retro gamer myself and I’ve always seen the charm of the good old traditional comic strip cut scene back in 90s games. The breakthrough in making 3D environment cutscenes is outstanding, yes. But seeing Kajun-chan in 2D is honestly still my favorite thing to do.
The intro of Shred &Tear will consist of a short comic, telling the story of the Tentamon and how we got to where we are at the beginning of the game. Kajun-chan and her great journey will start there. But of course, there will be a mixture of 3D cutscenes as well to show the badass moment of Kajun-chan in action!
More inspiration, pre-Kajun phase

Honestly, I’d never thought my plan would get this far! From a boy who loves playing video games and watching anime to an artist who draws and designs waifu, and now I get to make my own mecha waifu game! Kajun-chan is sexy, yes, and she is so much more than that. She has the capability to shred & tear, and to save this world. But first, let’s all enjoy this view :D
Original soundtrack
First soundtrack
I’ve put huge efforts into polishing the visual, the code, everything, but without the soundtrack, the vibe might not have passed the check. I tried to pay my homage to some legends in this gaming field through Shred & Tear, and choosing metal as the main genre is no doubt! I love how this turned out for the intense battle BGM.
Just imagine this music playing while Kajun-chan is shredding up the Tentamon *chef’s kiss*
Tentamon band
And behold, another track to set the mood. In a scenario that Kajun-chan is just ‘casually’ stirring up her enemy, this score is on. Not too intense, but certainly feel like ‘shredding music’.
What do you think about these two tracks?
Animation
Tentamon weapon

For those Tentamons who don’t get a drone, they’re instead equipped with a handy weapon. Don’t underestimate the size of it, Kajun-chan may be taken down by just a few hits. Not to mention these little freaks are almost everywhere. Frankly saying, they are pretty mad! Kajun-chan is their best experiment yet, and she is turning her back on them. They’ll take her down for good…
Heavy builder drone attack

The builder drone as mentioned above is more than just a construction assistant. They are in the force, ready to battle at any moment. The high voltage electrical hit has an enormous impact on Kajun-chan and her machine’s function. She must get more serious in training her moves and combo, I bet!
*Texting her to get back and start the session*
