Today we're excited to bring the Shadowgate Universe to PCVR players with Book One of the Shadowgate Saga! Our small team began working on the game in 2019 and we think we created something special. We launched the game in 2021 on the Oculus Quest and Rift (4.4 stars!) and it is super cool to now bring the game to Steam, taking advantage of the power of the PC! It's amazing what real-time lights and extra draw calls will accomplish! :)
Talimar the Starless has escaped his prison and is now unfettered and once again moving within the world of Kal Torlin. Beckoned by Lakmir the Timeless and with Odin the Raven as your guide, put on your fav headset and head into the darkened halls of Mythrok. here you will discover ancient secrets, defeat Talimar's minions, wield powerful magic and solve deadly traps.
Experience Shadowgate like never before!
P.S. On a personal note, I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and every now and then my friend's folks would take us to Lake Geneva Wisconsin to a shop called The Dungeon. Gary Gygax owned it and would sometimes be there when we entered the store and marveled at the D&D books and lead (!) miniatures. When I first created Shadowgate in 1985, I always dreamed of actually being IN a dungeon, fighting monsters and solving puzzles. It's cool to finally see that dream come true! - Dave Marsh
