Amy has been with us since the very start of the project, and she’s not just an amazing person but also an incredibly talented actress! She knows Kalyskah’s personality and journey inside out, so this video will give you a better insight into her work and offer hints about Kalyskah’s character.
Talking a bit more about Kalyskah as a character, she starts the game as a villainous vampire, viewing "the living" as nothing more than cattle, an expendable mass she uses for her own gain. Despite this, she has no interest in ruling over them or becoming an empress. From this starting point, much will unfold, and you’ll be able to shape her growth as a character. Whether that leads her deeper into her disdain for "the living" or towards a path of compassion and altruism.
Selfishness and altruism lie at the unbeating heart of many of the choices you’ll make throughout her journey. But it’s important to remember that bad things can happen to good people, and the most compassionate decisions won’t always lead to better outcomes in the long run. Learning to navigate this world is what makes Kalyskah’s choices feel so significant and unique.
Kalyskah is old—ancient, even. She’s lived so long that she’s lost track of the millennia she’s walked this earth. Love is the last thing she seeks. Cunning and manipulative, she can still be warm at times, occasionally displaying a crude sense of humour. At the start of the game, she’s fiercely loyal to her cause and her people, adept in sorcery, but terrible with a sword. And her development in both personal and technical areas of her life will be heavily influenced by your choices!
