Cellings is now available worldwide for PC-Windows on Steam, Gamejolt & Itch-io! Starting with a 20% sale!
Dev-Roadmap in a Nutshell
We would like to introduce to you our new game title that we've been working on for 2 years now.
As mentioned in the description, our main inspiration was Spore, the game from 2008 where you take full control of the evolution of your own species, from cell generation to space.
We were so inspired that we wanted to make something similar! The satisfying creature editor, relationships among other species, progression to another stage. We've basically created a mix of Spore features integrated in one stage which shows you the full cell evolution across 3 generations.
As the generation progresses, you will explore unknown species & locations that may offer you looting and rare materials. Your main goal (as a cell) is to gather material, make new connections with other species, or dominate other species!
Your species will progress and you will explore other game modes that allow you to fight in abstract arenas & realtime fractals.
Commmunity
We would like to be as close to the community as possible! You are very welcome to join our official community Discord channel where you can introduce yourself, share your stuff, or simply post your feedback so we can discuss anything in realtime!
We do really care about your feedback and suggestions, so do not hesitate to join!
The game contains a Steam Workshop feature that allows you to explore other species created by other players, so don't miss this feature! You can find it in Creators Wiki/Workshop. You can upload your own creature in Creators Wiki/Workshop/Upload Your Species.
Future
Cellings is currently a stable game with all the core gameplay and features. However, as it's a community-based game, we would like to add more content in the future, which depends on YOU!
What content? Content such as new editor parts, new maps in Dimension mode, improve AI of cells, more special cells, more unique locations, and so on.
So, if you really are interested in the game, we would very happy to hear your opinion. Open up and share your feedback with us! Thanks to you, the game will grow.
