View game pageDo you still remember that village hidden deep within the mountains? In Mountain: Critical Survivor, you searched for your missing sister— and uncovered the forbidden ritual known as the Fairy Banquet.
Two years have passed, and we’ve returned with a new story.
This time, the stage is a sealed mansion shrouded in mystery — the Mayfly Hall.
Fourteen strangers from across the world are drawn into an ancient ceremony:
the Burning Feather Rite.
As death returns again and again, the truth begins to stir beneath the surface.
We’ve carried forward the spirit of Mountain, but aim to go further—
exploring ancient Chinese funeral rites and forgotten faiths,
building a more intricate narrative, delving into deeper psychology,
and confronting the darkest corners of human nature.
The demo for Prisoner of the Ephemeral Kingdom is now live in the Steam Next Fest.
To everyone who walked with us since Mountain: Critical Survivor—thank you.
This time, may you survive the Mayfly Hall.
