Hello, Managers!
Making a game is like a journey and we want you to experience it with us. Let's talk about how Drug Dealer Manager is coming to life, starting with making game art.
It all starts with a pen and paper – well, figuratively, we do live in the 21 century. But the beginning of all art is always a sketch. Then we add details, colour it and make it all pretty. That’s concept art.
When we have a ready concept art, it’s time to translate that into the game. We make a 3D model and then we put it into the game.
And btw, what’s that building you see here?
It’s one of the resident buildings in the Ghetto, the poorest districts in the game. The Ghetto is characterized by the fact that people living there tend to do hard drugs and often die from overdosing them. It's awful, but it’s good for your business. People there rarely care about the quality of the drugs you sell them as long as they’re cheap. You don’t have to worry about losing clients if you dilute the dope too much.
Houses in this area are cheap but you need to take into consideration that this district is patrolled more often. So if anything shady is taking place here, the police will arrive faster than usual. It’s mostly for show though, as the police cares little about the residents. It’s good for business because the interest of the police about the buildings there grows much slower.
This particular building is a residential house so it lowers the costs of keeping your underlings. You can also turn it into a distribution point, a warehouse or a field laboratory for diluting drugs. It’s not very good as a cover for the money laundering business, tho.
Sounds fun? Let us know if you’d like to see more fun facts like this one! Also, wishlist the game *wink wink*
See ya!
