The sequel is in very early stages of production.
The plan is for the game to have it's own universe whilst maintaining a similar theme and feel to the original. This means you can play this without having played the first one, essentially.
I have taken on board comments and reaction to the game (both good and bad) and will try to make improvements and innovations on the first.
Firstly and perhaps most importantly, this game will feature a Difficulty setting choice at the start. This will make it more accessible for all whilst still maintaining a challenge for those who prefer one.
Included are animated characters and enemies for battles, giving the game a richer feel rather than another generic turn based offering. The boss characters will also have conditional states where they will be visually weakened allowing for the player to measure progress (gone are enemy HP bars in battle).
The side scrolling feel of the game makes a return however there will be some (albeit limited) vertical movement too so that the player can attempt to dodge enemy encounters if they do so wish.
The giantess maps will now be top down and feature enemies running around at the giantess' feet, giving a more immersive experience.
Expect updates very soon, including the store page which I will provide a link in the discussions section as and when it is up that will include screenshots, videos and further game descriptions.
As a very rough guide, this project I intend to be slightly smaller than the first and will aim for quality rather than quantity and this will be reflected in the lower price than the original Goddess Husk game.
Expected ETA will be the mid-late 2022 months as a sketchy guide, but I will be more specific when production is in further advanced stages.
Thanks for reading and checking out my games.
