Inner Ashes is a unique and heartbreaking first-person adventure that takes you into the shoes of Henry, a forest ranger who has been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's disease. Explore his mind to discover why his only daughter, Enid, disappeared from his life. Travel through unique and dreamlike scenarios based on Henry's daily life and mind.
The game mechanics of Inner Ashes are immersed in elements used to help Alzheimer's sufferers mitigate their symptoms. Solve tangram puzzles to stimulate Henry's memory and allow him to unlock key memories of his life with his daughter Enid. Use post-its to help Henry recognize objects, remember how to use them and unlock memories from the past.
With this game we bet on a different premise, contemporary, emotional, human to the bone, with a dreamlike world to explore, full of puzzles to solve and a learning narrative that will make you better understand life, recreating through metaphors the progression of Alzheimer's disease, in a respectful and, yes, also entertaining way..
