Small jump and canter half pass
As we all know, horses don't just jump high all of the time. So a small jump animation has also been added to the big roster of animations. This way we will be able to blend the animations from a small jump, to medium, to the big ones. The half pass in canter is also being worked on. Next up is the half pass in a walk and we'll have the whole set.
Finalizing the fur
There has been a lot of work on fur lately, but it's finally coming to an end! We now have three iterations of fur which will be based on the horse's breed and the weather/season. We've also added some long awaited lashes and whiskers. The fur will probably still get some tweaking along the road, but for now we are very happy with the results.
Outdoor washing and boards
We keep on pushing more assets out, and keeping the show ring theme, we've added an outdoor washing stall that would be nice to have at competition sights. The board has also been given it's rightful textures, as well as the hanging flower pot.
Summer splash art
The new splash art for summer is getting closer and closer to finish!
Pride month tack set
In honor of pride month, we have created a very special tack set. This tack set will be available for everyone and will be available from early access release.
Collisions
We are also moving on from implementing and testing multiplayer to working on collisions. As it usually is with game development, not everything works from the start. Here you can see an issue that occurred. It was quite entertaining.
Norwegian warmblood face reshape
The Norwegian warmblood has finally got an update to its face shape. There was always something that felt off about the face, but we finally figured it out and were able to improve the shape.
Updated manes
Since we have got more experience and better tools for making hair than we did when the Norwegian warmblood and fjord were made, we decided to give them updated mane, forelocks and tails as well. We want to keep the art style consecutive and similar on all of the horses. The Norwegian fjord is always a little bit more tricky due to the multicolored mane and tail. But we've come up with a good solution for now.
