Wohoo, it's finally Friday again! As per usual, the development of Astride is going steadily, and we have more things to show you. More tack items, a look at the new stables, animations and of course the last of the Kickstarter horse breeds that have finally been announced.

Walking animation
Since the horse rig has been adjusted, all of the previous animations have been revisited. The walk is still a work in progress, but there have been improvements in the back movement.

Teaser of another upcoming breed
We released this teaser of the fourth Kickstarter horse breed. There were a lot of guesses to which breed this was, but not many guessed right this time! Were you able to spot the breed?

Dole horse
The Norwegian Dole horse is coming close to being done. Some adjustments and finishing touches to the mesh are being made with great feedback from the community. Next up is the feathers, forelock, mane and tail!

In-engine
The collision in the world is finally working as it should, and now a few final touches are in order before we tackle the horse controller and more on to the jumping feature afterwards!

The last breed teaser
Finally, the last of the Kickstarter horse breeds were teased. There were a lot of guesses and speculations being made, it's always fun to see the community come together in figuring out which breeds they think will be added.

Bitless bridles
New bitless bridles are coming to Astride! When playing, it will not matter wether you ride in a bitless bridle or with bits, as the most important thing is the training and not effects on gear. This is also to keep the game balanced and, most importantly, fun.

Early access stables
Early access is getting closer and closer. But where will you get to keep your horses? The stables are in production and will fit 10 horses.

Autumn splash art
More progress is being made on the Autumn splash art. Here is a small piece showcasing the details being put into the human.

Horse shoes
A big and important part about horses are the hooves. No hoof, no horse. Some prefer shoes, some prefer barefoot. Players will be able to keep horses barefoot or shod based on their preference. There is also an option for shoes with or without studs for now. The horses' hooves have also had some fine tuning for better shape.

Stirrups
While being on the subject of metal and feet, we have new stirrups for you! For now, there is an option between plastic and metal standard stirrups. More will of course come with time.
Please note that everything shown in these devlogs is mostly just work in progress and is not finished. Changes may happen and the things showcased here will have further work put into them! To see work in progress daily, join our Discord server community here!
