- Learn the strengths of all characters, making future character selection more informed
### **Balanced Difficulty Curve**
We've listened to player feedback regarding challenging content. The Bond System provides:
- **For New Players:** A strategic safety net that helps overcome difficult sections while maintaining the core challenge

## 🔧 **System Mechanics Explained**
### **Activation Conditions**
The Bond System activates when your character's health reaches three critical thresholds: 60%, 40%, and 20%. At each threshold, the game pauses, and you're presented with the Bond Selection interface.
### **Selection Interface**
You'll see all unlocked characters (except your currently active character) displayed with their names and avatars. There are no random elements - you have complete control over your tactical choices.
### **Bond Effects**
Once selected, the bond character immediately performs their signature skill, providing instant battlefield impact. Additionally, they will automatically trigger their skill every 2 minutes throughout the remainder of your run (up to 3 automatic triggers per bond).
### **Strategic Limitations**
- Maximum of 3 bonds per run (one at each threshold)
- Cannot select the same character multiple times
- Cannot select your current active character
- Each bond has a limited number of automatic triggers (3 per bond)
