To all Commanders,
We are pleased to announce that Flying Universe has garnered further recognition from the Steam community, securing "Recommended" reviews from two additional Curators. This brings the game's total to three official Curator recommendations.
The new reviews highlight the experience that defines our game:
"It masterfully packs grand space opera into a roguelike shell. Each failed expedition feels like charting a star map toward ultimate victory." "The pixel art and chiptune score are more than nostalgia; they serve a tense, exhilarating combat rhythm that's utterly compelling."
While the world watches the headlines of SpaceX's Starship tests and IPO, contemplating a future among the stars, Flying Universe offers a different path to the cosmos. Here, you don't need to be part of a vast capital venture to touch the void. You take direct command, facing its splendor and brutality firsthand.
Your challenge is not a distant business plan, but immediate survival: navigating the laser arrays of the Abyssal Maw, deciphering the phantom tactics of the Acid Jellymother, or resisting the gravitational pull of the Thunderstorm Tempest. Your choices directly author a civilization's story across 216 possible endings—this is your personal, unparalleled "space program."
We extend our sincere gratitude to all Curators and players for their endorsements. Each "Recommended" review is a tremendous encouragement for our vision of blending retro aesthetics with deep, modern game design.
We now invite you to journey into this critically acclaimed universe and discover why it has resonated with our Curators. Your adventure will be its most important chapter.
Flying Universe is Now Available on Steam. Visit the store page to read the full Curator reviews and begin your expedition.
Wishing you legendary voyages among the stars.
Sincerely,
The Flying Universe Development Team
