Howdy folks! It's been a little quiet around here, so here's a fresh announcement! I've rebranded Seal of Confession and brought it under the Sainthood banner as Sainthood: Confession.
Why?
Because my mission is to build games that bring the super heroes of the faith, the saints, into modern consciousness, and so any future games I make that feature a "collection" of saints will be brought under the Sainthood banner.
So what's this game about?
Sainthood: Confessions is a poker-like deck builder about using poker hands to build and chain devastating combos with powerful synergies.
Poker-like Gameplay
Build poker hands, bend the rules with saints and relics, and unleash holy combos. Find the perfect card synergies to bring absolution to souls with cinematic flair.
Unlock the saints
Combine saints, relics, and blessings for powerful synergies.
A Dance with Sin
Watch out for SIN cards! They are functionally useless and only serve to clog your deck over time! You must purge them from your deck before they overwhelm you. I'm sure there's a real-life analogy here...
Unique Bosses
Face off against the 7 Deadly Sins that switch up the gameplay in challenging ways!
Folk Horror Narrative
Inspired by Heart of Darkness, and a true story my mother told me, the game unfolds through daily journal entries, encroaching dread, and a deadly final confrontation.
Immersive Setting
Set in the thick jungles of 1885 southern Nigeria, experience a unique narrative told purely through text and sound design. You set out with hunters, porters, a scout, cook, catechist, and healer. Each night by the campfire, one steps forward to confess. It's your sacred duty to bring their soul to salvation—or damnation.
