Open Division Grand Prize
■C.C./mabui
This world offers an extremely engaging experience that encourages repeated solo and multiplayer play by allowing players to customize weapons, HP, and other stats.
The game's system where players must decide on stats before entering battle is cleverly integrated into the world as "preparing a combat ready body to dive into a dangerous cyber world", which perfectly matches the setting.
・ Creator Comment:
I'm deeply honored to receive the Grand Prize. The world I created for this contest was, in a way, a culmination of everything I had built since I started playing Teravit, so I’m extremely happy to receive this recognition. During the submission period, I worked almost every day on terrain, commands, and avatars. Even after the period ended, I played other submitted worlds, identified elements missing from my own, and made corrections or large-scale improvements. Above all, I aimed to create a game that I myself would find truly fun to play. I'm excited for players around the world to enjoy it! |
Themed Division Grand Prize
■JOURNEYBORN -Born to travel-/Karon_28
The game fully utilizes the side-scrolling screen, blending athletic challenges, boss battles, and RPG-style story progression. Despite the horizontal view, the story unfolds naturally and was highly praised for its design.
Efforts were made to integrate the tutorial and narrative within the side-scrolling framework, making the game easy to pick up and enjoyable for anyone.
・ Creator Comment:
"JOURNEYBORN -Born to travel-" is a side-scrolling 2D action Metroidvania world! The game is built around the theme of "the game I want to play", featuring collectible items drops, and other elements! Creating the terrain and commands as a solo creator was challenging, but repeated playtesting helped me get close to my vision. I'll continue improving it, so please enjoy it! |
Open Division Award Winners
■ [Excellence Award] Because I want to hide it 2/かぶこ
A treasure hunting world with additional subquests, full of content beyond exploration.
The care and thought put into this world clearly communicate the creator's desire for "everyone from beginners to experts to enjoy it".
・ Creator Comment:
Thank you for choosing my treasure hunting world. I worked hard to hide treasures, so I hope many people can find them. Even someone like me, who in 'Play' mode keeps placing crosses all over spots the creator would wonder about, can enjoy 'Build' mode at my own pace. Teravit is a warm world where you can enjoy creating at your own pace and get kind feedback from others. I hope this cozy world continues to thrive. |
■ [Honorable Mention] Clear the Stag/いあerror404
The number and types of monsters are precisely adjusted to match the difficulty chosen by the player.
The smooth progression avoids sudden spikes in challenge, making the game very easy and enjoyable to play.
・ Creator Comment:
I worked hard on the stage selection commands and the Level 1 stages. (Excerpt from submission form) |
■ [Judges' Special Award] Ice Castle/bobaboss
As players progress through the dungeon, their tactical options expand, allowing them to fight in their preferred style.
The enjoyment of choosing weapons based on enemies and terrain reflects the creator's passion and attention to detail in designing a battle game.
・ Creator Comment:
Ice Castle is a fast paced Winter Castle Dungeon Theme Battle Style game set in a snow castle filled with monsters to battle. I focused on making this a battle filled game to enjoy using a variety of weapons trying to defeat the enemies all around the castle (Excerpt from submission form) |
■ [Full World Utilization Award] Authentic survival!/Lim
The world makes full use of its vast environment, creating a cohesive and complete game experience.
The creativity and design skill in maximizing Teravit’s scale are truly impressive.
・ Creator Comment:
I'm truly grateful that the aspect I'm most proud of has been recognized. Teravit is the most fun game in the world. I feel that features like automatic world generation still haven't reached their full potential, but I hope to continue highlighting Teravit's hidden charms in the future. |
Themed Division Award Winners
■ [Excellence Award] Progress Bides/テラポテト
A top-down scrolling action game where players progress by defeating enemies.
Along the way, there are traps and mazes, and the scrolling direction sometimes changes, offering a variety of clever gameplay elements.
・ Creator Comment:
I first participated because of Switch 2 and curiosity. I was interested in the Challenge Category, but I didn't know much about side-scrolling action games, which was the theme. So I first asked my friends, "What exactly is a side-scroller?". And I got the answer from Friend J and Friend Z. That's when I realized that side-scrolling games can be brutal but also really fun. Inspired by this, I poured my own ideas and creativity into creating Progress Bides. Thank you for the Excellence Award. |
■ [Theme Division] Let's learn about the SDGs!/|月音 季華|¿°|
"Edutainment" is a term that combines Education (learning) and Entertainment (fun), referring to initiatives where people can experience learning and enjoyment at the same time.
This world expresses the SDGs through quizzes, creating a structure that naturally encourages understanding while playing.
・ Creator Comment:
I'm thrilled my world "Learn SDGs!" received the Edutainment Award. Thank you to everyone who played it! The world teaches SDGs through quizzes, and I hope you enjoy it to the end. Thank you very much! |
Thank you for your continued support of Teravit.
