Added:
- Hold the attack button to keep swinging, instead of clicking once per swing
- Healing an ally now pays the healer a kickback
- Health bars are notched, so a bar reads as a count of hits rather than a percentage
- Optional FPS and ping counters in the HUD
- A close button on the scoreboard header
- Practice dummies now use the same base stats as players, so damage and healing scale the way they do against a real opponent
Updated:
- Mana is gone. Abilities are gated by cooldown and health cost alone, and the resource bar is off every frame, nameplate and stat row
- Innervate and Restore have been removed, since they existed only to restore mana
- Tab targeting is gone. Your target is whoever the crosshair is on, and Cancel no longer drops your target as a side effect
- The target frame is gone. The nameplate already carried the same name, level and health, so the top-centre column now keeps only the target's cast and their auras
- Every ability can now be cast while moving
- Basic attacks and gap closers are instant. Arrow, Fluxbolt, Wand, Arcane Step and Charge each dropped a cast time too short to read as a cast
- Actions are held by their own animation instead of a queue and a global cooldown. Spam-clicking no longer outruns the pacing of the swing itself
- Actions now have a pecking order: a raised guard outranks everything, a chosen ability cuts an auto attack short, and nothing interrupts another action of its own kind
- Casting no longer drops a held block for you. The block refuses the cast instead
- Aimed abilities follow where you are looking for the whole cast, so turning mid-cast turns the shot
- Your character holds their torso square through every ability animation, not just aimed ones
- Charge now runs instead of sliding
- Mend is instant with a short cooldown
- The third-person camera sits closer in, with a lower pivot
- The crosshair is redrawn with tighter blades, a thinner core outline and a whiter cast readout
- Nameplates are smaller
- Unit level only shows in modes that level you up
- Cooldown and duration sweeps are darker
- Frame text now matches the nameplates' typography
Fixed:
- Missing ability effects are back. Snare, Thunderstorm, Shatter, Quake, Cyclone, Scythe and others had lost their particles
- Status effect visuals now sit on the character's body, and no longer hide the whole effect
- Gap closers now show the run before they land
- Characters stood a fraction above the ground instead of on it
- Reversing a strafe scrambled the run animation, or snapped straight to idle
- Nameplates jittered as they tracked characters around the arena
- Clicks passed through the HUD into the world behind it
- The BACK bar blocked the in-match settings page
- The action bar sat off-centre above the player frame
- The damage marker showed a red sliver at full health
- The developer console rendered as a flat blue block
- Talent clicks that break the allocation rules are refused instead of half-applying
- Practice Range lighting is rebaked. Its lighting data was corrupt and failed to load
