The world of Deflector may be microscopic, but there are big things happening! Our previous update added a brand new location and its associated Apex Virus. Now let’s talk about what’s coming. We are happy to present an update to our roadmap.
The 4th update to Deflector is on the way, bringing with it a number of major additions and updates. No doubt the addition of a new specimen for you to play as is the big highlight here, but that’s not all!
Current specimens are going to get some love and some updates as well. We will be introducing changes to the way they mutate and the way you acquire unique variants on their play style. You can look forward to a more detailed summary of which direction each of them is going.
The Source of the virus, serving as your final challenge and last boss of the game, is getting an update as well. Bigger, meaner, with gameplay and visuals reworked!
That’s Q3. Moving forward you can expect another major update in the last quarter of this year. It will add new Elite enemies, expand the pool of available mutations, introduce new types of rooms and mix up the DNA table.
Then it’s on to a full release in Q1 2023!
